Women's Basketball Ends 2011 Schedule with Solid Victory

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's basketball team got back on the winning track by defeating Robert Morris University of Springfield 80-64 on Saturday afternoon. Ieisha Adams and Emmalee Fladland led the way for the Lady Panthers, netting 23 points and 22 points, respectively.

Fladland was Greenville's leader in assists with six and posted a team high three steals. Adams was Greenville's top rebounder with eight boards.

Greenville led with the score of 38-27 at the half and came out in the second half and continued to pull away to finish off with a 80-64 win.

The women climb to a 3-7 record on the year and will pick up after Christmas break as they take on Blackburn at Greenville on Saturday, Jan. 7, at 1 p.m.
