Women's Basketball Runs Away with 22-Point Win Over Blackburn

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's basketball team got another win under their belt as they defeated Blackburn 71-49 on Saturday afternoon.  Emmalee Fladland led the way for the Lady Panthers with team highs of 15 points, four assists, and six rebounds.

Laura Hobbie and Katelyn Wise also contributed to the winning effort netting 13 points each.  Wise was also the team's leader in steals with three.

Greenville led with the score of 29-21 at the half and shot 50 percent from the field to close the 22-point win.

Greenville's record reached 4-7 (1-2 SLIAC) for the season.  They play again Tuesday, Jan. 10,  at Westminster College as they take on the conference-leading Lady Bluejays at 6 p.m.
