Women's Basketball Wins Fifth Straight

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The Greenville College women's basketball team outlasted the Webster Gorloks in overtime by a score of 74-72. The game was a tight contest the entire way that saw multiple lead changes. Greenville was led by Ieisha Adams who posted a triple double. Adams scored 15 points, dished out 11 assists, and recorded 10 rebounds.

Senior center, Katelyn Wise also had a big game, recording 17 points and 15 rebounds.Kayla Hyde and Coley Baker were also strong for GC defensively, with Hyde grabbing 13 rebounds and a block,andBaker picking up 4 blocks and 9 rebounds for Greenville.

The Gorloks were led by Gwen Williams who scored 19 points. Jamie Buehrig added 10 points and 12 rebounds for Webster.

With the win, Greenville College moves to 5-1 (2-0 SLIAC) on the season while Webster falls to 3-3 (1-1 SLIAC). The Lady Panthers will try to continue their impressive win-streak Tuesday, Dec. 4, when they take on Hannibal-LaGrange at home at 7:00pm.
