Women's Cross Country Places Second at St. Louis University

ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The Greenville College women's cross country team ran to a second place overall showing at the St. Louis Forest Park XC Classic on Friday. Molly Works crossed the line first for the Lady Panthers in eighth place.

Works time of 22:18 over the five kilometer course was just over two minutes shy of the first place finisher.

Running right behind Works were Rosie Nelson (8th, 22:27), Aubree Schreder (9th, 22:47), and Suzanne Ford (10th, 24:06).

Bailey Keim was Greenville's final scoring member with a race time of 24:41 and a 13th place mark.

The Lady Panthers compete Friday at Illinois State.
