Thanks-Giving Campaign Kicks Off

GC signs students

The Thanks-Giving Campaign, contributing to the Fund For Educational Excellence (FFEE), kicks off Friday, Nov. 20 and runs for three weeks.

The goal? $30,000 in financial contributions.

The payoff? Scholarships and hands-on experiences that benefit GC students.

Join The Heritage

We remember our alma mater as a place of education and transformation. In our undergrad years, we may not have noticed the older alumni who pitched in behind the scenes to make that happen through financial gifts, prayer, and volunteering.

Join the new alumni generation in supporting today's students. An anonymous donor has agreed to match all first-time contributions to the FFEE, dollar for dollar, up to $30,000. That doubles your ability to give back to the college community!

Your Gift, Your Impact

Make your donation to the Fund For Educational Excellence and your contribution will go toward:

  • Affordable tuition
  • Faculty salaries
  • Small class sizes
  • Campus renovations
  • Programs (athletics, residence life, student organizations, spiritual formation)
  • Classroom technology upgrades

Fun Perks

Donors receive fun perks at each level of giving. Perks range from cozy travel mugs and GC window stickers to coffee dates with the College's First Lady, a ride on Belgian horses with Dean Suzanne Davis, and a personalized Facebook video from President Ivan Filby himself.

Make your contribution today and expand your reach to the next generation!

GC Alumna Named Director of New Nursing Partnerships Program

Jessica Evaul

Jessica (Briggs ’08) Evaul has been named the director of Greenville College’s new Nursing Partnerships Program. This Greenville alumna plans to bring her passion for nursing and her experience with GC to the table in order to grow the new program.

The Nursing Partnerships Program allows students to study at Greenville College for a few years and then enter a fast track to nursing degree completion at one of four partner schools: Southern Illinois University—Edwardsville, Saint Louis University, St. John’s School of Nursing in Springfield, and Goldfarb School of Nursing through Barnes Jewish Hospital. Students who meet the appropriate requirements can earn two degrees—a bachelor’s from Greenville College, and a bachelor of science in nursing from whichever partner school they choose.

Students Participate in Donor Thank-You Project

Writing Note

Did you know that 96% of GC students receive financial aid to help pay their college bill? Each year, GC alumni and friends of the College make donations to help students afford their education—and each year, students gather during the Thanksgiving season to write thank-you notes to these generous individuals.

Thank You NotesMore Thanks

This year’s Donor Thank-You event took place November 19. Students came together in the DC and wrote notes of gratitude to donors over food and warm apple cider.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, this generation of Greenville College students wishes a warm thank-you to all alumni and friends who have made financial gifts.

Thank You Donors
