Your Chance at a Full-Tuition Scholarship

Come to Scholarship Day on December 9th, 2017 for a chance to receive one of two full-tuition scholarships

All attendees will have a chance to receive not only full tuition scholarships but other scholarships including but not limited to:

Trustee's Scholarship

Amount: $14,000 per year

Awarded to first-time freshmen and is renewed annually by staying in good standing with Greenville College and maintaining a 3.0 GPA. To apply, submit official high school transcripts and test scores with your admission application. The Admissions Office will confirm your eligibility for this scholarship.

President's Scholarship

Amount: $13,000 per year

Awarded to first-time freshmen and is renewable annually by staying in good standing with Greenville College and maintaining a 3.0 GPA. To apply, submit official high school transcripts and test scores with your admission application. The Admissions Office will confirm your eligibility for this scholarship.

Dean's Scholarship

Amount: $12,000 per year

Awarded to first-time freshmen and is renewed annually by staying in good standing with Greenville College and maintaining a 3.0 GPA. To apply, submit official high school transcripts and test scores with your admission application. The Admissions Office will confirm your eligibility for this scholarship.

Recognition Scholarship

Amount: $2,000 - $6,000 per year

Renew annually by staying in good standing with Greenville College and maintaining a 2.5 cumulative GPA. Available to students not eligible for other merit scholarships.

Transfer Scholar

Amount: $10,000 per year

Awarded to first-time transfer students and is renewed annually by staying in good standing with Greenville College and maintaining a 3.0 GPA. To apply, submit official college transcripts with your admission application to the Admissions Office.

Transfer Merit Scholarship

Amount: $10,000 per year

Awarded to first-time transfer students and is renewed annually by staying in good standing with Greenville College and maintaining a 3.0 GPA. To apply, submit official college transcripts with your admission application to the Admissions Office.

Transfer Honor Scholarship

Amount: $9,500 per year

Awarded to first-time transfer students and is renewed annually by staying in good standing with Greenville College and maintaining a 3.0 GPA. To apply, submit official college transcripts with your admission application to the Admissions Office.

Transfer Achievement Award

Amount: $4,000 per year

Awarded to first-time transfer students not eligible for other transfer merit scholarships, and is renewed annually by staying in good standing with Greenville College and maintaining a 3.0 GPA. To apply, submit official college transcripts with your admission application to the Admissions Office.

Based on what you entered, you don't qualify for a merit-based scholarship. Raising either your ACT/SAT score or your GPA might change that. You may also qualify for need-based financial aid. Contact your admissions counselor if you have questions about other financial aid for which you might be eligible.

 

How do I sign up?

First, you have to be accepted to Greenville. We are expediting the application processes in order to give you a quick desision. Make sure you follow the steps below to apply and register for Scholarship Day:

  1. Apply to Greenville University for free here
  2. Send your high school transcripts and test scores to the Admissions Office at 315 E. College Ave. Greenville, IL 62246
  3. Once students are accepted, they will receive a link to register for Scholarship Day

When is the deadline to sign up?

Students must have applied (application sent in, transcripts sent in, and test scores evaluated) and been accepted to Greenville University, must meet the merit scholarship qualifications listed above, and must register for the event by December 8th

What will I do on Scholarship Day?

The event will begin at 9:00am on Saturday, December 9 with the opportunity to mingle with Greenville University faculty and staff.

Students will then participate in an interview and write an essay as their application for the full-tuition scholarship as well as the other scholarship opportunities.

A luncheon will be served at noon to conclude the formal portion of the day, but additional optional activities, like a campus tour and music auditions, will be offered in the afternoon. 

This is considered a formal event. Please dress accordingly.
