  • Morning Worship - Mandatory

The Greenville Free Methodist Church is pleased to provide a cookout lunch to welcome Greenville College new students following the 10:30 am service.  We invite you to join us for morning worship and some great food! Shuttles will be running out of Ganton Circle beginning at 10:15 am. 

  • 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm Free Time

This time is designated for you to rest and visit with your new friends. Or perhaps check out the Ultimate Frisbee game on Scott Field.

  • 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm COR 101/COR 301 (Faith and Learning) Group Meetings MANDATORY

Be sure to talk with your instructor about meeting location.

    • 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm Dinner

    (Armington Dining Commons) [Upper level of building 17 on your campus map] Students must present ID Card.  Cost to parents & guests is $7.75.

    • 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm Departmental Dessert MANDATORY

    Gather at 6:30 pm on Scott Field - Leave at 6:45 pm  MANDATORY  (Meet your COR 101/COR 301 (Faith and Learning) class on Scott Field then walk to Faculty Homes)

    • 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm Worship Arts Ensemble Auditions (Whitlock Recital Hall - Room 215)

    MUEN 144/344 Touring Ensemble and MUEN 164/364 Worship Arts Ensemble will consist of the groups that play on a regular basis for the weekly Chapel services and will also travel to outside schools or churches. We are looking for the following members: singers (male and female in contemporary styles), acoustic, electric and bass guitar players, piano/keyboard, drummers, other instrumentalists such as alternate percussion and string players.  

    • 9:30 pm (t)Pre-Service Learning Project Even (Ladue Auditorium) MANDATORY [Building 32 on your campus map]

    Bring a blanket and meet with your Resident Chaplain (RC) in LaDue Auditorium for a  movie and an introduction to Monday's service project in the Greenville community. Cold drinks and snacks will be provided by Greenville College Student Association. No cell phones or portable music listening devices, please.
