Online Learning Resources

my.Greenville.edu

my.Greenville.edu is your personalized portal to Greenville College information. This page provides you with quick links to the email system, the IT helpdesk site, and the to the GC learning management system. Bookmark this page and use it as your point for all things Greenville College related.

Logging in to my.Greenville.edu will give you access to your personal information, such as:

  • Online Course scheduling (registration)
  • Unofficial transcripts
  • Billing
  • Financial Aid
  • Enrollment Information

Learning@Greenville (D2L)

Learning@Greenville (D2L) is the Greenville College learning management system. This is where class takes place. On D2L, you will be able to access courses for which you are scheduled one week prior to the first day of class. Your username and password are the same as your network account information.

Student Email

All student recieve a free student email account powered by Google's Gmail. As an online student, it is imperative that you check your GC email daily for notices, announcements, and communication from your teachers and GC administrative offices. This account will remain yours even after graduation.

FastTrack

Need an ID card or to take care of other enrollment incidentals? FastTrack is the system to use. Login and take care of any outstanding enrollment issues on your account.

To request a student ID card, go to FastTrack, and follow the steps below:

  1. Use your ID # and assigned password to login to FastTrack.
  2. Under #2, Campus Safety and Securty, click "Complete This Item."
  3. Enter your Greenville College email address.
  4. Provide a digital head shot picture of yourself, preferable as a .jpg file.
  5. Press Upload Image to Server.
  6. You will receive an email notification that your ID is pending approval.
  7. The Office of Campus Safety and Security will mail your ID card shortly after submission.

Library Access

As a Greenville College student, you may utilize the College's Ruby E. Dare Library collection, including its electronic journal and book databases. You will find general information about the Library and its services here.

When using the library services from off-campus, you should be prompted to login with your 14-digit GC ID number found on your ID card. Until you have a card, that number will be "24511" plus your nine digit ID number.

Adobe Connect

One of the features of our online program is the ability to have live class sessions with your instructor. The web conferencing platform we use for this is Adobe Connect. Adobe Connect allows you to participate in lectures and discussions in real time like you would in a face to face classroom. While we encourage you to participate in these sessions while they are occurring live, they can also be recorded for viewing at a later date.

Adobe Connect is a free online tool to our students as participants in class. It works on any computer where you have high speed internet access. Students can also participate on their iPhone or Android device using the free Adobe Connect apps available online.

Students should download the Adobe Connect add-in to maximize their learning experience. Follow the how-to participate instructions for getting started.

Billing

Your tuition bill is available electronically through my.Greenville. Once logged in, you may view and pay your bill at anytime. Email notifications regarding your bill will be send to you at your GC email. For further assistance, please contact studentaccounts@greenville.edu.

Textbooks

In some online programs, tuition includes your textbooks, eliminating the unknown book expense most students encounter at the beginning of each term. When physical textbooks are used, online students will receive their textbooks at their home prior to the beginning of each class. When e-books are used, online students will receive access links and instructions within their course on D2L. Students should check with Admissions to determine if their course or program includes textbooks.

Tutoring & Academic Coaching

Online tutoring and academic coaching are available from the Student Success Center at Greenville College. Students are encouraged to register for online tutoring and academic coaching communities in D2L. Once logged in to D2L, click on Community Registration at the top of the page. Select the community name, then register.
