Two members of the Greenville College Football team were recognized for their performances in the Metrodome on Saturday's win. SO K Josh Frewin (Payson, AZ) was named the UMAC Special Teams Player of the week and SO QB Brendan Chambers (San Clemente, CA) was named the UMAC Offensive Player of the Week.
Frewin was perfect kicking during the 59-14 win over Minnesota-Morris. He was 8 for 8 in PAT's and nailed his lone field goal attempt of the day from 31 yards out. Frewin's kickoffs were impressive as well netting a 55.5 yard average. This was Frewins first award this season.
Chambers secured his third UMAC Player of the Week award on Saturday. He had a team high 209 yards and three rushing touchdowns. Chambers also threw the ball for 109 yards.
