The Lady Panthers took on MacMurray in their first SLIAC game of the season and came out with a 3-0 win.
GC won the first set 25-16, the second set 25-19, and the third set 25-19 to sweep MacMurray 3-0
Offensively, the Panthers were lead by Marissa Lovell who had 11 kills in the match. Corinne Coon added 8 and Tricia Gall recorded 7.
Defensively, Jamie Schollenbruch had 9 digs, Ansley DeVrieze had 8, and Gall finished with 5. Ellen Lueking finished with 30 assists in the match.
This Conference win brings GC to a record of 5-5 (1-0 SLIAC). The ladies play again Saturday when they travel to Principia in their second and third SLIAC games of the year. They will face Principia at 11:00a.m. and Webster at 1:00p.m.
