NEW ALBANY, Ind.-- After a tough loss to Spalding earlier in the day, Greenville Volleyball gets back on track with a 3-1 win over Fontbonne.
GC lost the first set 28-26 but took the next three sets 25-14, 25-16, and 25-23.
Joelle Scholten led the Lady Panthers offensively, recording 14 kills, 2 aces, and scoring 17 points for GC. Corinne Coon, Nicole Schaeffer, and Sierah Ruffner also had impressive performances, contributing 11.5, 11, and 10 total points for the Panthers. Jamie Schollenbruch had 27 digs and two aces and Ellen Lueking finished the match with 39 assists and 10 digs.
The win brings the team's record to 21-5 (14-1 SLIAC). The Panthers will play again on Tuesday, October 29 when they host Webster at 7:00pm.
