Jack Chism

About

Jack Chism (GC ’69) has been teaching Economics and many other business subjects at GC since 1983. He also teaches our Senior Seminar, Business as a Calling, and has started and managed several businesses. Prior to joining the faculty, he was an insurance agent for 8 years, an Air Force missile officer for 4 years, and a high-school history teacher for two years. He is married to the former Susan Bourne (GC ’68).

Related Experience

Is a Chartered Life Underwriter; operates a small business online at www.bestvests.com; serves as member of Greenville City Plan Commission; manages the annual Book Fair for the Greenville Regional Hospital Auxiliary; serves on board of Life Line Homes, a foundation making grants to ministries for young people.
