Brent Ellis, a 1992 graduate of Greenville University and current president of Spring Arbor University, will deliver a Convocation chapel address on Faith and Inspired Learning at GU on Monday, August 26 at 9:30 a.m. in Whitlock Music Center.

Who better to set the tone for the academic year than an alumnus with a broad background in Christian higher education and leadership? Ellis has engaged Christian higher education as a professor, a researcher and an administrator in student development, advancement, communications, alumni relations and external relations.

Ellis served Spring Arbor as vice president of advancement and special assistant to the president before his own term as president began in 2013. He also taught courses and served on academic planning and scholarship committees.

His professional accomplishments also include presentations at national conferences and publications in nationally recognized journals.
