Cheerleaders announce April tryouts

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The GC Cheer team will host tryouts for the 2016-17 cheerleading team and mascot(s) on April 1 & 2, 2016.

Cheer tryouts will consist of: a timed mile, game day appearance, stunt/jump/tumbling skills, as well as an interview portion.

Mascot tryouts will consist of a 1-3 minute skit/routine.

Tryouts will begin on April 1st with check-in at 5pm. We are asking that all candidates eat prior to check-in. Day one will consist of the timed mile and learning of material. If time permits stunt practice will conclude Day one. Day two will be a review of material, stunt practice and final assessment at the end.

All candidates that are selected for the 2016-17 team will be required to attend a brief meeting after tryouts for fitting and more information.
