Fall RECORD Recounts God's Work Multiplied at GU

“Only in God’s economy can five loaves and two fish feed 5,000,” says Greenville University President Ivan Filby in the latest issue of The RECORD. “When I bring my loaves and fish to Him, my jar of oil, my seeds and tithe, I can’t imagine what’s to come.”

Entitled “The Big Issue: Big Questions, Big Surprises, Big Impact,” the magazine looks at God’s big work right here at GU:

  • GU’s upcoming Science Through the Eyes of Faith Conference that boldly takes on big scientific questions from a Christian perspective.
  • A surprise partnership between the community and GU that produced a beautiful preschool facility to benefit area students and GU’s “teachers-in-training.”
  • A recent study that reveals GU’s $92M impact on the area’s economy.
  • A little video that opened the door for three choir alumni to perform on the grand stage at Carnegie Hall.
