GC Women's Soccer Beats Blackburn

GREENVILLE, Ill.-- The Lady Panthers continue their 3-game win streak with a 2-0 win against Blackburn.
Greenville's Kieley Leach scored the first goal of the game in the 29th minute of the game when she beat the Blackburn Beaver's keeper with a beautiful shot into the back of the net. This lone first half goal put GC ahead 1-0 at halftime.
In the second half, Kelsey Panzau scored a PK awarded to GC when Katelyn Reckert was fouled in the box. Panzau's goal brought the game to it's final score of 2-0 Greenville.
GC outshot the Beavers 22-3 and maintained possession for most of the game. Greenville goalkeeper, Heidi Koehl, earned the shutout.
This win brings the Lady Panther's record to 6-5-1 (2-0 possession).
