Katie Mauer Earns SLIAC All-Sportsmanship Team Award

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- Greenville College junior women's tennis player Katie Mauer was honored with inclusion in the SLIAC women's tennis postseason awards. She earned a spot on the All-Sportsmanship team as a symbol of her high levels of integrity as a member of the team.

Mauer, of Red Deer, Alberta, in Canada, primarily competed in No. 4 singles and No. 1 doubles during the 2011 season. She went 5-11 in singles and 5-13 in doubles during the season.

Mauer, who was named team MVP, served as a captain for the squad.

The women's tennis team completed the season with a record of 4-10 (3-3 SLIAC) and placed third in the SLIAC tournament.
