Lady Panther Basketball Third in the NCAA DIII in Academics

ATLANTA, Ga.-- The Greenville College women's basketball team was recognized by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) on theAcademic Top 25 Team Honor Rolls for the 2012-13 season.

According to their website, "the WBCA Academic Top 25 annually recognizes womens basketball teams across the nation in NCAA Divisions I, II and III, the NAIA, and junior/community colleges that carry the highest combined grade point averages (GPAs) inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season."

2012-13 marks the 18th season in which the WBCA has produced the honor rolls.

Greenville ranked third in the NCAA Division III with a combined team GPA of 3.569. Their impressive GPA was 13th in the NCAA and is an outstanding tribute to the commitment of the women both on and off the court.
