Women's Basketball Brings Home Second Straight Road Win

PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill.--The women's basketball team traveled to Trinity Christian Saturday afternoon and came away with the 79-68 victory against its NCCAA North Central region rival. Transfer Miranda Murray was Greenville's leading scorer with a 22-point performance off the bench. Murray also passed out three assists, gathered five rebounds, and swiped two steals.

Sophomore Coley Baker contributed a solid performance offensively and defensively as she filled her stat line with 17 points, seven rebounds, and three blocked shots. Freshman Claire Schmitt poured in 14 points and added two assists and two steals.

The win moves the team's record to 2-2. They will play in their home opener on Tuesday, Nov. 26, against St. Louis Pharmacy at 6 p.m.
