Lady Panther Volleyball Tramples the Tigers 3-1

MT. PLEASANT, Iowa--The GC volleyball team took a 3-0 sweep over Iowa Wesleyan. With the win, the women improve to 11-0 in SLIAC play.

The Panthers won the match with set scores of 25-20, 25-20, and 25-18.

Corinne Coon finished the match with 17 points, 16 kills, and 9 digs. Nicole Schaeffer added 10 points for Greenville and recorded 9 kills, 12 digs, and a service ace. Setter, Ellen Lueking tallied 41 assists. Jamie Schollenbruch had 13 digs in the match.

Iowa Wesleyan's top scorers were Marissa Bozik, with 12.5 points, and Dakota Flesner, who recorded 12 points. 

The Panther win improves the team's record to an impressive 18-4 (11-0 SLIAC). They sit at the top of the SLIAC standings as the only undefeated team in the Conference.

The women will take the court again on Friday, October 18 at 7:00pm when they take on Spalding for their Homecoming game.
