Men's Basketball beaten by Lindenwood

ST. CHARLES, Mo. -- The men's basketball team squared off with NCAA Division II Lindenwood and were on the short end of a 106-63 contest. Sophomore Nick Trisko posted 12 points and eight rebounds in the game.

The Panthers trailed 52-28 at halftime and were outscored by 19 in the second half.

Starting forward Tim Daniel tallied 10 points for Greenville. Newcomer Stevonte Young and sophomore Brian Ehresman passed out three assists. Jamal Daniels collected two steals.

Greenville shot just 35.2 percent from the field (25-of-71) which included a 5-of-19 26.3 percent mark from three point range. They were outrebounded 52-33 as Lindenwood produced 19 offensive caroms.

The Panthers (0-2) travel to Dominican on Saturday.
