Men's Basketball Cruises to Win over Eureka

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's basketball team jumped out to a 13 point halftime lead and never looked back as they rolled to a 70-59 win over Eureka on Wednesday night. Freshman Nick Trisko led Greenville with 16 points, and sophomore Tim Daniel sparked the Panthers with 15 points, all on three-pointers,in the winning effort.
Freshman Jamal Daniels also posted a double-figure scoring effort with 10 points.
Junior Ron Harris collected nine rebounds and blocked three shots.
Senior Alex Mumphard passed out five assists.
The Panthers (11-6, 7-3) sit in fourth place, one-half game ahead of Westminster, for fourth place in the conference standings. Greenville travels to MacMurray for a 3 p.m. contest on Saturday.
