Men's Basketball Falls at MacMurray

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. -- The men's basketball team was dealt a blow in the conference standings as they lost 97-67 at MacMurray. Ron Harris was Greenville's leading scorer with 11 points.

MacMurray shot over 59 percent from the field compared to an effort just under 43 percent by the Panthers. Greenville also made just 21 percent of its three-point attempts while the Highlanders made 44 percent of its three-pointers. The Panthers also had 17 turnovers.

Jake Dewitt posted a double-figure scoring effort for Greenville with 10 points. Michael Hohm came up with two steals, and Brian Ehresman, Hohm, Tevin Rollins, and Nick Trisko produced four rebounds.

The Panthers (11-7, 7-4 SLIAC) travel to Westminster for a game Wednesday night at 8 p.m.
