ELSAH, Ill. -- The men's basketball team improved to 5-2 in their last seven games as they topped Principia 76-66 on Saturday. Freshman Nick Trisko produced 16 points and two steals to lead the Panthers.

Greenville's shooting sizzled in the first half as the team made over 50 percent of its shots in opening up a 36-18 halftime advantage. Principia shot over 60 percent from the field in the second half, but their strong shooting was not enough to overcome Greenville.

Once again, Ron Harris tallied a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Alex Mumphard posted 13 points and six assists.

The Panthers (10-6, 6-3 SLIAC) currently sit in fourth place in the conference standings. They return to action Wednesday night at home against Eureka at 8 p.m.
