Men's Basketball Falls to Webster

ST. LOUIS, Mo.--The Panthers, led by Tim Daniel, Alex Mumphard, and Ron Harris, were handed a tough road loss in their first SLIAC match-up of the season, falling 77-63 to Webster.

Greenville came out strong and was leading 26-25 at halftime. Unfortunately, a thirteen point run early in the second-half brought Webster ahead. When final whistle blew, the Panthers found themselves down 77-63.

Daniel ended the night with 18 points, 7 rebounds, a block and a steal. Mumphard recorded 18 points, 5 rebounds, and a steal. Ron Harris also had a noteworthy performance, netting 11 points and leading the team in rebounds with 15 total. Together the trio had 47 of the team's total 63 points.

Webster was led by Kevin Miller who contributed 19 points and 11 rebounds for the Gorlocks.

The tough loss brings Greenville's record to 4-3 (0-1 SLIAC). The Panthers will take their home court on Saturday, December for their next SLIAC game. This time, GC will take on Blackburn at 3:00pm in hopes of improving their record.
