GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's basketball mounted a comeback of over 20 points to get back in the contest but fell short as they lost 90-84 to MacMurray on Saturday. Ron Harris was the leading scorer in the game with 24 points.

Elmo Smith came off the bench to post 12 points. Nick Trisko added nine points while Jake Dewitt, Brian Ehresman, and Michael Hohm put eight points each on the scoreboard.

The Panthers (9-6, 6-2 SLIAC) are now in a second place tie with MacMurray in the conference standings. They return to action Wednesday night at Spalding.
