Men's basketball topped by Webster

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's basketball team lost a 134-115 contest to Webster on Wednesday night. Tim Daniel led Greenville with 25 points.

The Panthers shot just 44 percent from the field as Webster posted a 68 percent shooting percentage.

Greenville trailed 61-49 at halftime.

Shane Smith produced a 21 point effort off the bench.

DeAndre Brown and Jamal Daniels each had 16 points.

The Panthers leading rebounder was Ethan Leib with six, and Greenville forced 20 Webster turnovers.

Greenville (1-6) travels to Westminster for a game on Saturday.
