Men's basketball uses Daniel's 30 points, Greene's 28 in 31 point win

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's basketball team earned a convincing 127-96 win over Fontbonne on Saturday as Tim Daniel posted a 30 point outing and Kenny Greene added 28 points.

The Panthers led 61-47 at halftime and expanded their lead throughout the second half.

Daniel's season-high 30 point effort was his second this season with 30 points.

Greene's 28 points and four steals were both career highs.

Johari Dix passed out 10 of Greenville's 33 assists, and Andrew Scott posted 10 rebounds.

Michael Hohm added 13 points, four assists, and five steals.

Greenville forced 31 turnovers by Fontbonne and collected 20 steals.

The Panthers (3-10, 2-4 SLIAC) host Principia on Tuesday at 8 p.m., and they find themselves one game out of fourth place in the SLIAC standings.
