Men's basketball uses huge second half to propel past Principia

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's basketball team outscored Principia by 30 points in the second half to erase a one-point halftime deficit and defeat the Panthers on Tuesday.
Tim Daniel scored 33 points as he made nine three-pointers in the contest.
DeAndre Brown and Kenny Greene each had 15 points, Michael Hohm posted 14, Jamal Daniels tallied 13, and Shane Smith totaled 12.
Andrew Scott added 11 rebounds.
Hohm and Daniel Saeli posted season-highs with eight steals and nine assists, respectively.
Greenville forced Principia into 37 turnovers while only committing 15 miscues.
Greenville also outrebounded Principia by a 56-51 margin.
The Panthers (4-10, 3-4 SLIAC) host Iowa Wesleyan on Saturday at 3 p.m. Greenville is currently one-half game out of fourth place in the battle for a conference tournament position.
