Men's cross country all-conference honors announced

HILLSBORO, Ill. -- The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference presented its all-conference awards following the championship meet. John Mangold was named the Newcomer of the Year and Greenville College was awarded the Team Sportsmanship award.

Greenville College finished second overall with 51 points as sophomore Andrew Sharp led the Panthers with a fourth place finish, completing the course in a time of 25:50, to be awarded first team all-conference honors.

Sophomore Nathan Potts also grabbed a top ten finish, placing ninth, with a time of 26:42 to earn a slot on the second team. Juniors Nathan Allyn and Jacob Burrell and sophomore Jaylen Shelton joined Potts on the second team.

The All-Sportsmanship team included Burrell.
