Men’s Cross Country finishes 22nd at Augustana

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. The mens cross country team ran to a 22nd place finish among 39 squads at the Augustana Brissman-Lundeen Invitational on Friday. The Panthers were led by freshman Andrew Sharp who ran 27:00 in his 100th place finish in a field of over 530 runners.
After Sharps finish netted Greenville 85 points, sophomore Nathan Allyn finished 192nd for 138 points with a race of 28:03. Senior Ben Barber was close behind gaining 139 points with 192nd place (28:04).
Greenvilles scoring was closed out by sophomores Jacob Burrell (205th, 28:11) who collected 146 points and Ben Gabel (214th, 28:16) who posted 152 points.
The Panthers racked up 643 points. The squad returns to action Saturday in Louisville, Ky.
