Men’s Cross Country takes seventh at Olivet Nazarene

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. The mens cross country team opened its season Friday with a seventh place showing at Olivet Nazarene. Greenville accrued 208 points.
Greenvilles top runner was freshman Andrew Sharp (26th, 26:38) on the eight kilometer course.
Senior Ben Barber was Greenvilles number two runner, placing 36th (27:28).
Sophomores Nathan Allyn (27:44), Jacob Burrell (28:35), and Ben Gabel (28:42) closed out Greenvilles scoring with 39th, 51st, and 56th place finishes, respectively.
The Panthers travel to Augustana for their next meet on Friday, Sept. 26.
