Men's cross country wins Bradley Classic

PEORIA, Ill. -- The men's cross country team completed their meet as the first place finishing team as they ran at Bradley on Friday.

Andrew Sharp was Greenville's top performing runner, clocking the race in 26:12 as he took third place.

Nathan Allyn ran a career best 27:17, improving his season best mark by 25 seconds. He finished 30 seconds faster than last year on same course.

Jacob Burrell, Jaylen Shelton, and Nathan Potts completed Greenville's scoring efforts.

Burrell was 28th with a time of 27:30, Shelton placed 45th in 27:36, and Nathan Potts was 65th (27:47).

Overall, the Panthers earned 65 points.

They will compete next in the SLIAC championships in Hillsboro on Saturday, Oct. 31.
