Men's soccer fails to break through in 1-0 loss

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The breaks did not fall Greenville's way as the men's soccer team suffered a 1-0 defeat to Coe on Friday. Greenville outshot Coe 25-6 and Tyler Earick had six shots and four on goal.

Greenville attempted 13 corner kicks to just two from Coe.

Coe's goalkeeper Eric Hoar had 14 saves in the shutout.

Greenville's goalkeeper Ian Hodge produced three saves.

The Panthers (1-4) face Gustavus Adolphus on Saturday at 7 p.m. in Greenville.
