Men's tennis slips by Illinois Wesleyan

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The men's tennis team wrapped up the regular season with a 5-4 win over Illinois Wesleyan on Saturday.
Greenville gained an 8-4 win in No. 2 doubles as Jonathan Urshan and Code Power were winners.
Blake Gocey and Chris Heckman teamed up in No. 3 doubles to gain a 9-7 win.
With a 2-1 lead in the match, Greenville only need to split its singles matches to win the match. Greenville got wins in No. 4, No. 5, and No. 6 singles to take the match.
No. 4 Gocey won 6-1, 6-0.
No. 5 Justin Tilford recorded a 6-3, 7-5 triumph, and No. 6 Mason Tennell came away with a 6-0, 6-1 win.
The Panther completed the regular season 13-4 and as SLIAC regular season champions. The Panthers compete in the SLIAC tournament on Friday and Saturday in St. Louis.
