Men's track and field finishes third at Illinois College

Results

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. -- The men's track and field team earned 63 points as they were third at Illinois College on Saturday. Andrew Sharp won the 800 meter run and was second in the 400. Jarrid Williams finished second in the triple jump.

Sharp's time of 1:56.86 in the 800 was an indoor personal record. He completed the 400 in 50.49 seconds.

Williams produced a lifetime best of 13.65 meters (44-9) in the triple jump.

Three entries ended up taking a third place mark.

The distance medley team of Jaylen Shelton, Treyvon Manning, John Mangold, and Parker Wray ended the race with a time of 11:07.78 for their third place showing.

Jonah Peoples was third in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.47 seconds.

Nathan Potts took third in the 800 meter run as he clocked a 2:00.20 time.

The Panthers travel to Monmouth next Saturday.
