Men's track and field fourth at Greenville Select meet

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- A pair of wins by Bruce Gray led the men's track and field team to a fourth place finish at the Greenville Select meet on Saturday.
Gray won both the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes and claimed 20 points for the Panthers. Greenville finished with 95 points.
Gray won the 100 with a time of 10.73 seconds which edged the second place participant by four hundreths of a second. The mark is the fifth best in the NCAA Division III.
In the 200, Gray posted a time of 21.85 which gave him first place by just thousandths of a second. His time is ninth nationally.
Greenville added second place in the 110-meter hurdles with the performance of former NCAA Division III qualifier Jonah Peoples. The 4x100 meter relay team was second as well.
Ben Barber finished third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, and Jarrid Williams was third in the triple jump.
The men's track and field team returns to action at St. Louis University on Friday and Saturday.
