Men's Track and Field Takes 10th at Washington - St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. --The No. 17 Greenville mens track and field team competed in the Washington - St. Louis Invitational for a two day meet. The men placed 10th out of the 32 teams at the meet.

The Panthers had two members earn points in the 100 meter dash. Bruce Gray took 1st place with a time of 10.41, and Dmitri Holman came in 8th at 10.92. In the 4x100 meter relay the Panthers finished 2nd with a time of 41.80 (Josh Garcia, Bruce Gray, Ryan St. Hill, and Dmitri Holman).

Other point earners for the men included Ben Barber who ran in the 3000 meter steeplechase with an 8th place finish (10:04.43). Jared Williams also finished 7th in the long jump (6.40 meters).

All together the men earned 32 points.

The Panthers compete again on Saturday, April 5, when Greenville hosts a select meet.
