Men's track and field winners in four events at Eastern Illinois

Results

CHARLESTON, Ill. -- The men's track and field team got event championships from four entries at the Eastern Illinois Twilight on Friday.

Bruce Gray won the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.51 seconds after reaching the finals with the same mark.

Jonah Peoples was on top of the 200 meter dash with a winning time of 21.90 seconds after entering the event with the second best seeding mark.

Andrew Sharp took the win in the 800 meter run as he finished in 1:50.63, improving his seed time by over one second.

The 4x100 team was also on top of their game as Terran Daniels, Gray, Peoples, and Jarrid Williams defeated Indiana State with a time of 41.36 seconds.

The men will send participants to North Central and Augustana on Thursday and Friday.
