Men's volleyball continues historic start with win over Hannibal-LaGrange

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- Playing before the home crowd for the first time in an NCAA sanctioned contest, the men's volleyball swept Hannibal-LaGrange in three sets to remain undefeated.

After taking the first set 25-21, Greenville eked by the Trojans 25-23 in the second set before closing the match with a 25-21 final set win.

Daniel Bilinski continued his offensive onslaught with 16 kills in 31 attacks with six errors as he hit at a 32.3 percent rate.

The Panthers steadily improved their hitting percentage in each set as they went from 20.0 to 22.6 before ending with 32.3 percent in the last set.

Tanner Smith posted 34 assists, three kills in five attempts with one error (40.0 percent), two solo blocks, and two block assists.

Peter Binder led all players with eight digs.

Johnny Milabu posted six kills in 14 attacks with three errors (21.4 percent) and added a solo block and six block assists.

The Panthers (5-0) travel to Lindenwood (IL) for their next match on Tuesday.
