JACKSONVILLE, Ill. -- The men's basketball team dropped their third straight conference game Saturday, asMacMurraypushed the pace and claimed the 91-77 win. Obinna Agomo led the Panthers in the losing effort with 12 points and a game high 12 rebounds.

Our press was pretty ineffective against Mac to be honest, said assistant coach Stephen Groves. We failed to force the turnovers that we needed to stay in the game, and MacMurray just buried us early.

MacMurray guard C.J. McClellan led all scorers with 22 points and also added six assists and six rebounds.

Though the Panthers have lost five of their last six games, the GC squad is still in prime position to lock up a SLIAC post-season bid with their conference record of 6-6.

The mens basketball team will resume action on Mondayas they travel to Eurekato take on the Red Devils in what was a previously postponed game that will now start at 8p.m.
