GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's basketball team lost a close game Saturday afternoon as they were defeated 64-57 by Westminster.  Senior forward Andy Traeger led  the Panthers in scoring, netting a game-high 19 points and went 5-for-9 from beyond the three-point arc.

Adding to Traeger's game-high, junior Markeith Brown put in another double-digit scoring performance, adding 17 points and picking up four rebounds.

Leading the Panthers (10-8, 6-4 SLIAC) in rebounds was Obinna Agomo with eight and K.J. Hilliard who grabbed six.  Both Agomo and Hilliard contributed three assists a piece in the losing effort.

Greenville trailed at haftime by one point and fought hard the entire game but to no avail as the Bluejays were just too much down the stretch.

The men's team returns to action Tuesday night, Feb. 8, as they will travel to take on Principia at 8 p.m.
