Men's Basketball Topped 97-75 by Union

WILMORE, Ky. -- The men's basketball team dropped their second game at the Asbury Zweifel-Pritchett Classic as they lost 97-75 to Union.  Obinna Agomo was the leading scorer and top rebounder for Greenville as he posted 14 points and nine caroms.  Jonas McBride and Andy Traeger each tallied 13 points.

Markeith Brown passed out six assists and collected two steals in his first start of the season.

The Panthers only trailed by seven points at halftime but were outscored by 14 in the second half.

The game concluded the 2010 portion of the schedule for Greenville as they enter the holiday break with a record of 5-3.  They return to action on Tuesday, Jan. 4, at Spalding.
