Men's Cross Country Loses 32-23 at Wash U

ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The Greenville College men's cross country team traveled to Washington University to run in Forest Park on Friday. The Panthers fell 23-32 in a tough loss to an impressive Bears team.
Nathan Young and Ross Baker were the top two finishers for Greenville, running the course in 20:44 and 20:48 respecively.The men finished third and fourth overall. Both seniors are expected to lead their team this year. Josh Dees finished 7th in 21:22 and Ethan Ford,finished in 22:00 earning an 8th place finish.
Washington University's Josh Clark and Vincent Stephen, both with times of 20:41, finished in the top two spots.
The GC men will run again on September 14 at 4:30 p.m. in Normal, Ill. for the Illinois Intercollegiate Championships.
