Men’s Tennis Edged by Principia 6-3

GREENVILLE, Ill. GC mens tennis failed to keep pace with perennial SLIAC powerhouse Principia on Tuesday night falling 6-3 at the Scott J. Burgess Tennis Complex in Greenville.
In individual action sophomore Ryan Haas clinched the win at No. 5 singles and teammate and freshman Demetrius Bush notched the victory in No. 6 play to snag two of the six matches.
Doubles competition was headlined by the No. 2 tandem of Haas and freshman Jordan Tingle that claimed the lone Greenville win in pairings play.
GC tennis moves to 7-7 (2-3 SLIAC) and will return to the courts on Friday, April 13 as they face Oakland City and Rose Hulman in Indianapolis, Ind.
