HILTON HEAD, S.C., Greenville College picked up their second win in South Carolina with a 5-4 edging of Messiah College on Wednesday. GC doubles again looked unstoppable, posting another team sweep.

For the second straight contest the No. 1, 2, and 3 doubles men for the Panthers helped deliver Greenville the win, serving up a 3-0 margin in favor of the Black & Orange heading into singles play. The No. 1 combo of Ian Wolf and Andrew Herlein cruised 8-2, Jordan Tingle and Alex Dowley outpaced their competition in No. 2s with an 8-5 effort, and Ryan Haas and Todd Ganton dominated 8-2 in No. 3 action.

Ian Wolf again crushed the opposition in No. 1 singles, posting a 6-0, 6-1 route. GC fell at No. 2, 3, 4, and 6 matches, but sophomore Ryan Haas served up a 6-2, 2-6, 10-7 win at the No. 5 spot to seal the 5-4 team win.

With the win mens tennis moves to 3-3 in 2012 and will wrap up their three-game east-coast road trip tomorrow, Thursday, March 15 in an afternoon tilt with Heidelberg.
