Panther Baseball Drops SLIAC Game to MacMurray, 3-0

JACKSONVILLE, Ill.-- The GC Baseball team could not outplay fellow Conference team MacMurray in their first meeting of the season and fell 3-0.

Kenny Trager led GC in hits, getting 4 hits in the game. Tim Osborne, Dalton McFarland, Matt Reinholz, and Cole Lawson each had 3 hits.

Tyler Mitchell, Scott Voyles, and Nick Bifanoshared the mound for GC. Mitchell pitched 6 innings for GC, facing 28 batters and allowing 7 hits. Voyles and Bifano each pitched one inning for the Panthers, allowing2 and1 hit, respectively.

This game brings the team to a record of 4-6 (1-1 SLIAC). They will play again Saturday, March 23 when they travel to Illinois College.
