Volleyball Takes Care of Business Against Fontbonne University

ST. LOUIS, Mo. The Lady Panthers posted a 3-1 victory over the Fontbonne Lady Griffins (0-9, 0-3 SLIAC) Saturday at Fontbonne University to win their sixth consecutive match.

The Panthers grabbed the first set Saturday, as they won 25-18 behind 10 kills.

Greenville stumbled in the second set however, allowing Fontbonne to slide past with a 25-19 victory.

The ladies quickly returned to form as they came out on top in a hard fought third set battle 25-20.

The fourth set showcased a dominating performance from the Lady Panthers as they dominated 25-16 to close the Lady Griffins. Greenville cruised to a convincing decision behind 18 team kills and only four errors in the fourth set.

The Lady Panthers improve to 7-3 overall and 3-0 in the SLIAC this season.
