Volleyball Takes Down Webster in Conference Clash

GREENVILLE, Ill. Greenville Volleyball successfully defended HJ Long Gymnasium Saturday Oct. 2, as they defeated Webster (7-11, 5-2 SLIAC) in a tightly contested 3-1 battle.

The Lady Panthers took the firs set 25-17 as they cruised past Webster behind a match-high 11 kills.

Set two forced the Panthers to dig deep, as the contest was drug out to a 30-28 win as the ladies edged past the opposition.

Greenville stumbled in the third set, dropping a close 25-23 set.

The Panthers bounced back in the fourth, closing out the ladies of Webster in a 25-20 finish.

With the win, Greenville Volleyball moves to 12-5 overall and 6-1 in the SLIAC.
