Volleyball With Victorious Weekend, Taking Spalding and Westminster

GREENVILLE, Ill.--The Lady Panthers remain on top of the Conference, beating both Spalding and Westminster in SLIAC play this weekend.

In their first match of the day, Greenville beat Spalding 3-1 with set scores of 25-20, 24-26, 25-18, and 25-14. Greenville's offense was lead by Tricia Gall who was credited with 20 kills in the match. Corinne Coon was also great for Greenville, adding 10 kills and 5 service aces. Ellen Lueking had 39 assists and Nicole Schaffer lead the Panthers in digs with 15.

GC swept Westminster 3-0 in their second match, with scores of 25-22, 25-21, and 25-23. Schaffer, Coon, and Gall were strong for Greenville again, getting 13, 12, and 12 kills respectively. Lueking recorded another 39 assists. Jamie Schollenbruch had 12 digs while Schaffer and Ansley DeVrieze each added 11.

The Lady Panther's record is now 16-7 (12-1 SLIAC). They take the court again on Tuesday, Oct. 16against Benedictine-Springfield at home.
